This painting was part of a series of small works all about that feeling of seeing something beautiful and immediately wanting to share it with someone you love.
I’ve always loved the idea of a postcard; a tiny, tangible "wish you were here" sent from one heart to another. As a kid, I sent a lot of postcards, and it is still something I find enjoyable as an adult when on holiday.
Road Trip is a little moment captured on a wooden board, designed to feel like a snapshot you’d tuck into an envelope and send with love. Each one named after a feeling, a fleeting thought, or an activity while away from home.
