Evening’s Rest

Sale Price:$150.50 Original Price:$215.00
sold out

Evening’s Rest by Carolyn Brennan-Tucker - this painting was inspired by the landscape near Alice Springs.

“This is one of my favourite paintings. I was inspired by an evening’s winter walk here at Harts Range on the 24th August at 6.16pm 2021. I love the blonde grass, the evening’s warm, soft glow in pinky-mauves and the kiss of last light changing the colour of the ranges. The dead tree in the foreground is a favourite perch of the little robust black faced wood swallow, swooping and gliding, hunting for his evening meal of insects as I wander past lost in thought. I like the feelings of peace and gentleness that this painting evokes. I hope you will enjoy it as much as I do.” - Carolyn.

The edges of the canvas are painted to extend the beautiful painting on the front - it would almost be a shame to frame it and miss out on more of the painting!

Canvas size: 30w x 30h x 4d cm

Medium: Acrylic on stretched canvas, ready to hang

Shipping: Free postage within Australia. International shipping will be an additional 15% of the purchase price. Invoice will be sent after purchase, and payment is to be made before your item is shipped.
